JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct user research to gather insights into customer needs, preferences, and behaviours
- Create concept designs and prototypes for new products and develop detailed product specifications and design documentation
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to refine designs and ensure that they meet technical and functional requirements
- Create engaging and effective marketing materials, including product packaging, brochures, and websites
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, new technologies, and emerging design tools and mentor junior designers and provide guidance and feedback on their work
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on Retail, consumers, software, or web applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills, including user research, prototyping, and marketing materials
- Expertise in design software such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools such as InVision
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality work
