JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
e are seeking a dedicated Metrology Equipment Technician to join our team at the SC2 Campus in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves performing functions associated with photomask production, including equipment operation and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring proper calibration and optimal performance of metrology equipment. The position requires a high degree of judgment and initiative in resolving complex problems, and successful candidates will be pivotal in updating training manuals and participating in emergency response teams as necessary.
- Operate and maintain metrology equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and optimal performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering strictly to safety protocols and procedures.
- Act as a buddy, trainer, and certifier for new technicians, enhancing team proficiency.
- Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Teams to foster a secure workplace.
- Play a key role in updating training manuals, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., material science, physics, chemistry, electrical/mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience (≤5 years).
- Experience with metrology equipment (e.g., SEM, AFM, scatterometry) regarding preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
