JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a dedicated professional for a 100% onsite long-term role, tasked with conducting detailed failure analyses to identify electrical and thermal mechanical package failures and to support the understanding of new package technologies. This position requires a hands-on approach to failure and material analysis, process development, or analytical tool development, alongside a commitment to teamwork, delivering under pressure, and organization. The role includes a focus on supporting root cause analysis efforts with a range of technical skills and requires the ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Conducting failure analysis to identify electrical and thermal mechanical package failures.
- Supporting the understanding of new package technologies through detailed analysis.
- Utilizing X-section/planar polishing, optical microscopy imaging, and SEM/EDX on printed circuit boards.
- Collaborating closely with teams, delivering results under pressure, and maintaining organization in workflows.
- Engaging in continuous learning about packaging material properties and behavior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in X-section/planar polishing, optical microscopy imaging, and SEM/EDX.
- Good verbal and technical writing skills.
- A minimum of an AS degree in science or engineering with 2-4 years' experience in related fields.
