This role demands a change agent passionate about excellence in managing the transition of complex electro-mechanical assemblies from design to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will define component mounting strategies, select suitable adhesives, and ensure designs can withstand harsh environments while optimizing manufacture and reliability. Overseeing electronic design readiness and actively solving manufacturing challenges are also key aspects of this role.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will define component mounting strategies, select suitable adhesives, and ensure designs can withstand harsh environments while optimizing manufacture and reliability. Overseeing electronic design readiness and actively solving manufacturing challenges are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in design activities, ensuring robust electromechanical design alongside Design Engineer, eCAD, and mCAD teams.
- Optimize vibration & thermal compliance of electrical system designs and component assembly processes compatibility.
- Develop process instructions, focusing on DFA and cost-effective design.
- Design and facilitate the creation of manufacturing jigs and tools.
- Inspect electronics to meet quality and reliability standards, implementing risk mitigation and corrective actions as necessary.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical system packaging and electromechanical manufacturing processes.
- Experience in engineering and manufacturing technical documentation.
- Excellent knowledge in design for manufacturability principles.
Industry Experience Required:
- Experience in electronics/electromechanical assembly manufacturing is required.
