JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accessibility Specialist, you will engage with users and researchers to understand their accessibility needs, define and execute on processes for accessibility audits, verify compliance with standards, collaborate with the team, and offer guidance on design and code solutions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in accessibility standards, experience with various accessibility platforms, and knowledge of digital assistive technologies.
- Engage with users and researchers to understand accessibility needs.
- Create and execute processes for regular accessibility audits.
- Verify compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, ADA, Section 508.
- Collaborate with team on manual accessibility testing standards.
- Educate team on delivering accessible products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience driving accessibility in digital, customer-facing programs.
- Expertise in accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA, Section 508.
- Strong experience with accessibility platforms and digital assistive technologies.
