Job Summary:
We are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA, to lead the development of networking products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently, handle fast-paced environments, and possess a full product lifecycle experience. This position involves hands-on prototyping, design, and analysis, as well as occasional support at the factory for engineering builds and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive tasks proactively and independently while communicating needs clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Work in a dynamic development environment to meet project deadlines.
- Own the full product life cycle from concept to production release.
- Utilize schematic capture and PCB layout tools for design.
- Perform hands-on prototyping, design, and power analysis using lab equipment.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Networking Product Design.
- Experience with Embedded CPU Design, especially x86 and AMD.
- Ability to design for low-cost and power over Ethernet PSE.
Industry Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in OT, Ruggedized, IP-rated product design is highly desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS).
