Job Summary:
This role demands a dedicated Database Reliability Engineer to maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of Adobe's critical database infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of uptime and quality of service. The position focuses on automating deployment, improving observability, and implementing self-healing solutions for large-scale database environments. The ideal candidate will act as a first contact during production incidents, offering both immediate solutions and long-term strategies to prevent future issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of database infrastructure for Adobe products.
Automate deployment processes and manage large-scale database environments effectively.
Implement enhanced monitoring, tracing, and logging for improved observability.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution for production incidents, developing automated solutions.
Optimize database server configurations, queries, and indexes for storage performance.

Must-Have Skills:
Extensive experience with AWS and virtual computing environments.
Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Chef).
Strong background in scripting with languages like Python, Perl, or Ruby.
Industry Experience: Experience in supporting at-scale, highly-available database environments in the tech/software industry is required. Knowledge of cloud database technologies such as AWS RDS and familiarity with open-source database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL are essential.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, and at least 7 years of relevant production experience.
