JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in San Jose. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client/stats models throughout their entire lifecycle, from data acquisition to productionalization. This role involves applying scientific methods to practical problems, maintaining data quality, and effectively communicating complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain client/stats models from data acquisition to productionalization.
- Apply scientific methods through exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization.
- Ensure data quality and support data access across large datasets.
- Leverage data to inform strategic directions and provide intelligence on ecosystems.
- Operationalize metrics that measure the impact of targeted enforcement and disseminate intelligence to stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, and Spark.
- Experience with common machine learning algorithms (e.g., SVM, KNN, logistic regression).
- Excellent ability to communicate complex topics to a diverse audience.
