Pay Range: $62.00 - $70.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Engineer II to collaborate with our Business Intelligence Engineering team and various stakeholders to gather business requirements, transforming them into a scalable data infrastructure within AWS. The ideal candidate will develop mechanisms for data retrieval, ensure data reliability, and optimize data queries to support downstream business intelligence solutions. This role is central to improving engineering decisions through robust data infrastructure design and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather business and functional requirements to develop a scalable, operable data infrastructure within AWS.
  • Build mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating operational data from the AWS fleet for business intelligence.
  • Provide continuous recommendations for solving specific business problems through deep understanding of data sources.
  • Perform in-depth analyses to address potential data anomalies and ensure data reliability.
  • Insist on the highest standards in reporting and analysis, optimizing data query performance, and addressing ETL procedures.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 3+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer with proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced experience with AWS technologies
  • Proficiency in modern scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
Industry Experience:
  • Experience in data engineering or analytics, preferably within a cloud infrastructure context.
