Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Data Engineering Specialist to join our team, responsible for developing advanced data transformation pipelines, optimizing algorithms, and managing large data sets efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SQL database design, process documentation, and is proficient in Python, Hive, or Spark for data warehousing, querying, and schema management. This role involves developing technical solutions to enhance data accessibility, advising on technological resources for data needs, and creating analytical tools to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient data transformation pipelines.
- Optimize algorithms and manage the schema and data for large datasets.
- Aggregate, analyze, and provide actionable insights from various data sets.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL databases and procedures.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for business users.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database design.
- Experienced in Python, Hive, or Spark for data management tasks.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and big data technologies.
Industry Experience:
- Prior experience in data engineering within cloud environments, preferably AWS (S3, Athena, Glue).
