JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines on the AWS platform, utilizing services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, cloudformation and RDS
- Work with Apache Airflow and manage DAGs to orchestrate data processing and transfers
- Write code in Python to extract, transform, and load data using Spark and other big data technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data models and user interfaces
- Debug and troubleshoot existing solutions as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in AWS big data development
- Strong understanding of the AWS platform and its services, including S3, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
- Expertise in Apache Airflow and managing DAGs and knowledge of Astro for managing data pipelines
- Proficiency in Python and experience using Spark for big data processing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
