JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst III to join our team in San Jose, focusing on driving strategic data governance initiatives and enhancing our data quality and integrity, especially in payments and financial services. The ideal candidate will spearhead efforts to standardize rules for data consumption, establish rigorous data oversight, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy and implement necessary changes stemming from external mandates. This role is pivotal in optimizing our data management strategies to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with data science, finance, and analytics teams to create and standardize data consumption rules.
- Establish and maintain a data governance body to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Review and scrutinize invoices from payment partners, reporting discrepancies.
- Lead strategic data governance initiatives to align organizational processes.
- Design and implement best practices for data reporting in the payments/financial domain.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven expertise in data governance and analytics within the financial services or payments industry.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
