JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking a Security Engineer to assist with the design, implementation, and support of the cyber security detection program. This role will involve analyzing threats, developing security content, and creating reports using SQL and Splunk. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity and be able to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Research and analyze threats based on the MITRE Telecommunication framework.
- Develop and implement security-specific content for threat detection alerts.
- Gather and analyze cyber-security data for executive review and compliance purposes.
- Create reports and visualizations using SQL and Splunk query language.
- Support the onboarding of custom and native logs to the Big Data Platform and Splunk.
- 2 years of experience working in a detection team.
- Experience with the MITRE attack framework.
- Proficiency in SQL or Splunk processing language (SPL).
