Contract Type:  W2 Only
Duration:  4+ Months
Location: Oakland, CA (#LI - Hybrid)
Pay Range: $60-$65/Hr. on W2

Job Summary:
This role focuses on assessing and validating cybersecurity controls across enterprise and operational technology systems to protect critical energy infrastructure. You will evaluate compliance with various standards and regulations, identifying and recommending solutions for security risks and control deficiencies. The position requires close collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure robust protection of company systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess IT, cloud, and OT cybersecurity controls.
  • Evaluate security measures against industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify security risks and propose corrective actions.
  • Document findings and remediation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on risk management.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Cybersecurity assessment experience
  • Knowledge of NIST CSF and NIST 800-53
  • Risk management and compliance evaluation

Industry Experience:
Experience within the electric utility industry is preferred, particularly with knowledge of NERC CIP standards and assessing Operational Technology (OT) systems.
