JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
This position focuses on credit risk oversight for consumer credit portfolios, ensuring compliance with bank and regulatory policies while supporting the Head of Consumer and Residential Credit Risk in managing overall credit risk. The role involves deep dive analytics to monitor and report on portfolio quality, the evaluation and decision-making on credit requests beyond assigned lending units' authority, and the management of policy effectiveness and regulatory compliance. The candidate will work closely with various teams to implement policy changes and manage risk effectively.
Establish and review key risk reports to monitor and ensure the quality of the credit portfolios.
Develop and execute action plans to address open issues, working with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
Review and recommend changes to credit policies and procedures, overseeing the implementation of approved changes.
Support credit reviews and ensure corrective actions are taken to address and prevent exceptions.
Design and implement monitoring frameworks for assessing the performance of new product launches and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a thorough knowledge of retail credit products, policies, and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel, alongside strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proven experience in credit risk roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory guidance related to consumer and small business products.
