Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing robust security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in networking and security protocols, with a keen ability to troubleshoot complex issues across various layers. This role demands a proactive approach to improving our security stance, requiring the creation of detailed design documents, change management plans, and optimization reports to enhance our network's resilience against threats
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security solutions, specifically in areas such as Firewall, Identity Solutions, Email Security, Web Security/Proxy, and Cloud Security.
  • Create comprehensive design documents, implementation plans, and optimization reports for network security enhancements.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting for L1-L7 network issues, ensuring robust security and network performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on security configurations, changes, and upgrades using Microsoft Word templates.
  • Work flexibly across different time zones, and occasionally during weekends, in response to critical security needs or project deadlines.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong experience (3-5 years) in network security technologies including Firewall, Identity Solutions, Email Security, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, encryption protocols, application layer protocols, etc.).
  • Proficiency in documentation, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
Industry Experience:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the Cybersecurity industry is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are required.
  • (Optional) Experience with Cisco Security products and programming knowledge using Python and APIs would be an advantageous addition.
