Job Summary:
The Commission Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales and Finance departments by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of commission calculations and payments. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously to meet critical deadlines. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of accounting or finance education, experience in sales analytics or finance, and proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to strategize and execute commission processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and verify commission earnings, including system-generated calculations.
- Handle inquiries and adjustment requests from Sales and Finance departments.
- Execute both automated and manual commission adjustments as required.
- Produce detailed reports and commission statements for review.
- Validate Sales targets, incentives, and reporting hierarchies to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Industry Experience:
- Experience in a finance or sales analytics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS/400, TrueComp, and ChangePoint systems is advantageous but not required.
