Job Summary:
This role focuses on the maintenance, creation, and management of Bills of Materials (BOM) within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The candidate will coordinate and manage changes related to product definitions and configurations, including creating and implementing change orders in the PLM system. Additionally, this position involves project coordination and general product data management within the PLM system.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, create, and maintain BOMs for new and existing products, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform analysis and action for maintenance of BOM accuracy, and manage change requests, orders, and implementations.
  • Coordinate product NPI phase/gate reviews, including artifact creation and action item management.
  • Provide project coordination for BOM and change management, ensuring timely delivery and project schedule adherence.
  • Undertake periodic reviews for PLM system data, including approval matrices and BOM accuracy.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 2-3 years of CAD designers, Mfg. engineering experience managing BOMs
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Oracle Agile PLM.
  • Proven ability in BOM creation, maintenance, and change management.
  • Strong skill set in stakeholder and project coordination with minimal supervision.
Industry Experience:
  • Experience in the high-tech industry preferred.
  • Local to San Jose, CA, with a willingness to work from the office.
