Contract Type:  W2 Only
Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension)
Location: San Jose, CA.(Hybrid)
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr on W2

Summary:
This role involves the meticulous creation and upkeep of Bills of Materials (BOMs) within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for new and existing products. The engineer will also manage the end-to-end process of product changes and configurations, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate implementation. Additionally, this position requires the analysis and preparation of documentation for phase/gate reviews and the overall coordination of product information management across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and create product Bills of Materials (BOMs) in PLM.
  • Manage all aspects of product change and configuration control.
  • Prepare documentation and artifacts for product review gates.
  • Coordinate task execution and project schedules for product data.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of approval workflows in PLM.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Bill of Materials creation and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in managing product configuration changes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and task coordination abilities. Domain / Industry Experience: Experience in high-tech product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes is preferred.
