JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant III to join our team at 7700 W. Parmer Lane, Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed presentations to high-level stakeholders, overseeing statutory, regulatory, and compliance reporting, and driving accounting process improvements. This position plays a crucial role in supervising multiple accountants in outsourced functions, assisting in the monthly close process, and striving for efficiency in accounting operations through automation and process evaluation.
Present detailed financial reports to board members, VPs, and directors.
Supervise, guide, and review the work of multiple outsourced accountants.
Participate in the monthly close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account reviews.
Partner with business units to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Lead and participate in automation projects to reduce routine activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
CPA or equivalent is highly preferred, along with a BS/BA in Accountancy or Finance.
Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
