Pay Range: $70 - $72 per hour on W2

Job Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead complex negotiations, draft contracts for commodities and services, and work closely with executive management to drive procurement strategies within a banking environment. This role involves analyzing market data to recommend cost-saving sourcing strategies and contributing to category performance targets. The ideal candidate will train and mentor team members on procurement best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mid to high level negotiations and manage the entire procurement process for banking commodities/services.
  • Analyze spend data, market trends, and business plans to develop optimal sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and implement category sourcing options.
  • Participate in and lead competitive RFPs to meet category performance targets.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance and performance optimization.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proven experience in complex contract negotiations and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market data and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Industry Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Procurement experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a bank, financial services company, or indirect Procurement Organization.
