This role involves distinct responsibilities in designing and developing test plans, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of medical device data, and providing significant contributions to all phases of the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analysis, expertise in SQL or similar environments, and a proven track record in software application release and support.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer with expertise in Data to join our Engineering Digital and Data Development Group. This role involves distinct responsibilities in designing and developing test plans, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of medical device data, and providing significant contributions to all phases of the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analysis, expertise in SQL or similar environments, and a proven track record in software application release and support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop test plans/protocols for functional software verification of system data-related products.
- Provide feedback on requirement/specification clarity to support proper testing method development.
- Enforce design aspects for test tools and automation needs during product definition and design phases.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and drive timely resolution of Product Issues.
- Develop and deliver Product User Instructions, Knowledge Base, Product FAQs, Self-Help content, and User Training/Education.
- Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline desired and 3-6 years experience working with data in SQL environment
- Strong analytical skills - ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate systemic defects and validate data quality
- Ability to compare large sets of data in SQL Server environment, design and develop of test cases, define the high-level data testing strategy
- Execution and support for Product/Data Validation
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision making skills. Proven ability to develop, present and justify positions to all levels within the company
