JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a detailed-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team, under limited supervision, providing comprehensive risk analyses of retail and small business portfolios. The successful candidate will design, prepare, and distribute risk reports while ensuring compliance with established exposure limits. This role requires extensive knowledge in credit risk management, data analysis, and the ability to work independently on complex assignments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Prepare and distribute various credit risk reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
- Collect and review data to ensure accuracy and develop credit risk reports.
- Work alongside Risk Management and business units to address and resolve exceptions/exposure items.
- Develop solutions for complex risk measurement and reporting needs, providing analysis and commentary on significant exposure issues.
- Analyze and improve business processes and workflows for efficiency.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Oracle for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the financial services sector are required. No specific certifications are needed.
